A Step by Step Process

In some cases, hydroseeding can be applied over an existing grass bed, filling in bare spots while strengthening the already existing growth. In other cases, we will strip the existing grass to provide a clean, uniform application across an entire area. However, a majority of our projects begin with a bare earth application. With new construction, the area to be seeded is typically void of any significant growth and the process can begin with a minimal amount of pre-application weeding.

As you can see in the photos below, a bare-earth application allows for even distribution across a wide area.

In the following set of photos, note the time stamp indicating early growth in as little as five days (5-23-09 to 5-28-09).
